World Bee Count - Now Live - Let's Start Counting

Saturday, May 16, 2020 13:53 | Anonymous member (Administrator)

Great News!

The World Bee Count App is now live and available for download on Android and iOS

Now get out there and start capturing bee and pollinator images. See how many you can upload before the Global Pollinator Map goes live on 20 May.

Help us make bees count!

  1. Start uploading images of bees and pollinators. The images will show up on the Global Pollinator Map, built with the support of SAS Analytics.

  2. Share the app with friends and family and social networks. The success depends on you telling others to join the count! See how many pollinator pictures you can capture before World Bee Day.

  3. Tune in to the World Bee Day online event on 20 May, hosted by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations. During this event, the Global Pollinator Map will be revealed: an interactive visualization of all the photos and data collected by users of the app, including your images.

  4. Stay engaged! The Global Pollinator Map will be available on  world bees countafter World Bee Day, and you can continue to send in pictures year-round! Also, follow the World Bee Count on Instagram and Twitter and share your photos using the#beescount hashtag.

Now, snap to it!

The bees are counting on you!

Have a great weekend with the bees,
