Your purchase of this special edition honey will support both a local and international charity. Storehouse is a local charity organised by The Full Gospel Church. It aims to provide essential supplies to families in crisis in the Dalkeith area. Regular, ongoing donations of food, as well as essential household supplies meet the immediate needs of those in crisis. Bees for Development, Ghana organise "Buzz Clubs" in schools to give young people a chance to learn the practical skills of beekeeping and support their learning about biology and the environment. Plus it is fun and exciting! Not only that but the beekeeping clubs also sell honey, earning money which is used to buy educational items for the school. As a result of being members of a school Buzz Club pupils have taken their beekeeping skills back to their parents and neighbours who are eager to learn from the children. Newbattle Beekeepers Association Honey: Our bees forage on acres wildflowers and trees of the historical Newbattle Abbey estate and the surrounding countryside on the outskirts of Edinburgh.
