These Bee friendly seed balls are one way to help the environment , have some fun and help the declining bee population.
Scatter the balls in your garden. Each ball contains a binding agent, compost, chilli powder and seed. They will break down to form a growing medium for the seeds. They are naturally protected from being eaten by insects and birds.
Best scattered in Spring or Autumn.
The type of seed typically included are native wildflowers including field poppy, tansy, yarrow, red campion, cornflower, foxglove, forget-me-not, cowslip, oxeye daisy, musk mallow and common toadflax.
