Bee Farming – The Move from Hobbyist to Bee Farmer

These FREE training days are for members of the Bee Farmers Association wishing to launch or re-launch their business or beekeepers looking to make the move towards professional bee farming. It covers the practical issues affecting bee farming on a larger scale, as well as information on setting up a business, keeping accurate accounts, running a business and writing a business plan. Marketing and branding products will also be covered.

Subsidised by the Scottish Rural Development Programme, Farm Advisory Service, attendees will learn how to plan and grow their business at a pace that suits them.

Lead tutor is Bee Farmer member Tony Harris, NDB assisted by Ann Chilcott, both Scottish Expert Beemasters.
